Testimonials

After a week of relaxing by the pool, sipping tropical cocktails, enjoying fresh seafood and taking romantic strolls along the beach at sunset, I proposed to my partner in the tropical surrounds of Bramston Beach House.

Activities in Queensland

High, Normanby, Round, Mabel, and Russel are the five continental islets that make up the whole of the Frankland Islands. This group of virgin islands is home to both human and animal species. It has been known to be inhabited by the aboriginal clans of Mandingalby Yindinji and Gungandji, who have been dependent on its waters for their food and survival. Aside from them, a variety of marine species have been dwelling in the fringing reefs that surround the islands. Terrestrial animals have also considered the rainforests and mangrove swamps their natural habitat. It bears that much importance hence visiting the islands is restricted only to those with privately owned water vessels or those who have set up arrangements with the Frankland Islands Cruise & Dive, which is the only authorized tour operator.

The Four Mile Beach is the most often visited among the beaches in Port Douglas. It is known for its very fine sand that is golden in colour, almost shining like gold dust when touched by the sun’s rays. A lot of tourists are drawn to this beach, in fact a number of Hollywood movies have been shot in this location because of its picturesque scenery. The verdant pine trees that line up the shore create a beautiful contrast against the blue tones of the Coral Sea, providing a breathtaking view while dining al fresco on the shoreline. Aside from horseback riding and motor bike racing, a lot of visitors go to the southern tip of the beach to experience kitesurfing, which is the second most popular activity here next to diving and snorkeling of course. The beach is very close to the Great Barrier Reef so there are several boat trips that depart from this side of the island to get to one of the world’s most acclaimed nature attractions. Guided tours can also be arranged to explore the wilderness in the neighboring Daintree National Park where Cape Tribulation, another commendable tourist destination, is situated.

Aside from these, visiting tourists can also enjoy shopping in the several boutiques in the coast of the beach. To get a taste of the tropics, several gourmet restaurants that serve both local and international cuisine await the visitors. A fully developed golf course is also made available for those who’d like to tee up while on vacation. These advancements have been kept minimal to preserve the natural beauty of the place but just enough to accommodate the needs of the tourists.

The serene atmosphere that emanates from this place is what makes the visitors re-visit and the fact that it is just an hour away from Cairns makes it the ideal go-to destination. In addition to that, getting to Port Douglas itself can be considered a side trip itself since the Captain Cook Highway is named as one of the most scenic toll roads in the whole of Australia. In line with amazing view and peaceful environment, why not spend the night over at the Bramston Beach House after a day of relaxation in the beach? This luxurious beachfront home can enhance the wonderful experience that you had at Port Douglas. It is accessible via the Bruce Highway in Cairns. Drive straight until you reach the Bramston Beach Road where you’ll turn left. Continue driving to Evans Road, turn right and drive straight ahead to this deluxe accommodation that will surely satisfy your expectations in every aspect.
